Historic Morningside is one of the most walkable neighborhoods in Atlanta with numerous streets named after its early settlers such as Plaster, Luckie, and Cheshire. Also sometimes called Morningside/Lenox Park as these two neighborhoods are in close proximity to one another. Morningside extends a great deal of interesting characters with 8,000 residents and a neighborhood that was founded in 1931. Most of the homes were built in 1918 to 1935. Wonderful tree-lined streets are a warm welcome and the newly-restored homes in Tudor-style, Four-Square, and Craftsman are likewise heartwarming.
